To make accessing Knowledge Direct easier, we have created a single sign on experience. This means that you only have to login to the CAS website to access our education programs.

A single user profile, a single password, a single link to save in your bookmarks.
 
Please login to the CAS website, then click the “MY COURSES” button in your member dashboard. This will take you to KD and the courses you are enrolled in.

On the CAS website, go to Education > Continuing Professional Development > CAS Online CPD Opportunities to see a list of all the online education we offer and a short description of each program. Click the “LEARN MORE” button for the program you are interested in.

You will be directed to a more detailed program description. Click the “ENROLL NOW” button at the bottom of the page.

You need to login to enroll in a course. If you are not logged in, the “ENROLL NOW” button will redirect you to a log in/register page. If you are a CAS member, use your email address and password. If you are not a member, you can either register on our website and purchase courses at the non-member rate or become a member to take advantage of the reduced rates and other membership benefits. Once logged in you will be redirected to a course enrollment form. Choose your courses, click ‘submit’ and wait for the confirmation email. The email will have instructions for accessing the course.

After completing a course, you can download your certificate of attendance in two ways.

1. Go to the course page and click the “Print certificate” button.

2. Click the circle in the top right corner of the screen to see your account menu, then click the "My Transcripts" button.


You will see a page with all the courses you took, the dates you started and completed each course, how much time you spent in the course, your scores, and a button to download your certificate.

Same as the CAS website, KD is bilingual. You can choose your preferred language – English or French, by clicking the circle in the top right corner of the screen to see your account menu. To access your personal account preferences, then click the "My Profile" button.



Go to “Preferred Language” under “Edit Profile”, choose the language and click “Update Profile.”


 

We need the feedback from evaluations to tailor the content of future courses to your educational needs. Having participants complete the evaluations prior to obtaining the certificate is our way of collecting this feedback. Please fill in the survey to complete the course.
 

Previously completed courses are displayed in two ways:

• A checkmark on the course image in your dashboard and enrollments page.

• Your Transcript, accessible through your account menu (circle in the top right corner of the screen). 

We are keeping the CPD modules on KD so that users can practice on them. Please note that you do not obtain credit on expired modules, but you can use them for practice.
